AAPG/SEG announce OU Spring Break Student Expo

SEG, AAPG and the University of Oklahoma invite students to participate in the upcoming AAPG/SEG Spring Break Student Expo 14-16 March 2012 in Norman, Oklahoma, USA. The three-day expo is a unique tool, linking geoscience students with industry recruiters. The expo, which focuses on exploring and networking, includes a poster contest, optional short courses, a field trip, and a regional SEG Challenge Bowl.

In conjunction with the 2012 AAPG/SEG Spring Break Student Expo, SEG presents the Sixth Annual SEG Sooner Challenge Bowl 16 March 2012 at 2:30 p.m. in Norman, Oklahoma. This is a chance for geoscience students to display their geophysical knowledge in a fun, rapid-fire contest!

The winning team will receive an expenses-paid trip to the 82nd SEG Annual Meeting & Exposition in Las Vegas, Nevada (4-7 November 2012) where they will compete in the Seventh Annual SEG Challenge Bowl finals and have the opportunity to win a cash prize. Participants also will have the opportunity to: network with industry professionals, receive free admission to the SEG Annual Meeting and Technical Sessions, and attend other student-related activities.
